Deleting a Group

Learn how to permanently delete a group and what happens to group data.

Before You Delete

Deleting a group is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure this is what you want to do.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete a group, the following data is permanently removed:

  2. 2Group chat history
  3. 3Group settings and preferences
  4. 4Upcoming sessions (players will be notified)
  5. 5Group invitation links and QR codes

What Gets Kept

Some data is preserved for record-keeping and player history.

  • •Payment records are retained per legal requirements
  • •Individual player accounts remain active
  • •Historical statistics and analytics
  • •DUPR rating submissions are not affected

How to Delete

Only group admins can delete groups. Go to Group Settings > Advanced > Delete Group. You'll need to type the group name to confirm deletion. All members will receive a notification.
